I'm a creative problem solver. I constantly discover opportunities for more effective solutions to the problems we face every day. I hope to create delightful and effective products that enhance our experiences with the world.
I hold a BFA in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design where I developed a process driven design philosophy, starting by asking deep questions and understanding the needs of the stakeholders, and working my way through many design iterations to reach the most effective solution. I spent endless hours using hand tools, power tools and digital tools to prototype and test my ideas. Working with my hands and learning by doing has allowed me to develop the habit of rapidly evolving my designs based on user feedback.
My passion towards understanding how an ecosystem of products provide value to society and my goal of bringing technology closer to people led me to immerse myself in user experience design upon graduation. After working at design consultancies such as
Moment Design and
THE MEME, I joined
Akamai Technologies in the Bay Area where I engaged in several projects redesigning their customer control portal. I spent the past year working on new product designs for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud as a consultant at a digital product design firm called
DesignMap. I recently joined the
Integrated Design and Management program at MIT where I have the opportunity to cross traditional academic boundaries and get a holistic view on how design, engineering and business function together in the product design and development process.
In my spare time, I like to tinker with electronics, dabbling in the world of physical computing. I enjoy making things out of found objects, Arduino, and code.
